What should my boy be eating?

He's a rescue..the previous owner let rats chew on him. Just recently took 3 live mice but terrified of rats and won't take f/t. 1445g and about 4ft, 6 years old. What should he be eating?

I moved this into the proper forum for you...assuming "your boy" is a ball python.

Mice are fine. Bit of a pain to feed multiple mice, but 3-4 mice per feeding is fine. Give him time and maybe try a rat again in a few months, but it's pretty much a choice of keeper's convenience and not a nutrition issue for the snake.
