Well I get home tow days ago and my girl friend was like "baby look what I got today at pest I mean petsmart", A Russian Dwarf Hamster. He looks like food to me but she like the little guys and I have to admit he is kinda cute. Like a little cotton ball with legs. So now Orpheus has a playmate. No she would kill me he kinda grows on you

Congrats! I never much liked hamsters but I hope you end up loving yours. Be careful, the little boogers will chew your finger off.

I have had all of the dwarf hamster species, campbells are my favorite, the russians (robovski's) are cute as heck, but every one I had was MEAN and no matter what could not be calmed down to handle them. Ohh - but I LOVE the chinese dwarfs too!

    humidity and heat pad question

I have a dwarf hamster, its evil as heck, it used to be named skoshi ("small" in japanese) but i changed it to evil ...........for obvious reasons.

I hate the hamster but its kinda fun to keep the cage looking cool and stuff, becuase i cant handle him i try to give him the best cage life he could have.
