I have the chance to get a Suriname boa he was born in '01 and is now about 5' long. He seemed pretty friendly and is probley the best looking snake I have seen.
What I want to know is avg size full grown on them
Temper he seemed nice enough just wondering about them as a whole
Size and temperment are my biggest concerns the rest falls into place.

I'd like to see that pic...esp. considering that the largest known true redtail in captivity (in recent years, anyway) was a 14' female at the San Diego zoo.

That is a huge boa brandon, larger than any I have ever seen.
When I read care sheets it says males avg 6-8 ft is this true or can i expect a much larger boa ? I know for sure its a male
Oh I read on several boa sites and care sheets that the Columbian BCC on avg is larger than the others does this hold any water ?
male BCI 5-6 FT
Female BCI 7-9FT
Male BCC 6-8 FT
Female BCC 8-10 FT
these are the sizes i read when looking at various care sheets

Those are the basic generalizations you will hear about boa's, however it is important that you keep in mind those are just generalizations. If you are not prepared to have a large snake, i would shy away from a boa. You might get one that is a monster.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
