Dark, in blue and wrinkly, and slowly digesting Monday's meal. Gonna take her out for some sunny outside photos when she sheds! Can't wait to see her purdy colours shinin'.

It's two in the morning, but guess who JUST shed! 😋 The shed is 6'3, so how long do you think she actually is?

First of all, awesome boa!
second, I've seen all sorts of theories posted about shed length, stretched or loose, dry or moist, etc. I always just use this site.

i tested it with a picture of a measuring tape and it was accurate to a 16th of an inch.

Part of me wonders if perhaps she is actually a he, just because she appears to be growing slow, at least compared to other boas of similar age she looks small. I have fed her conservatively, though, and I like to think if people thought she looked starved they would definitely say something. Lol
She gets a medium rat every other week.
