    Pastel female in water bowl

So about 2 weeks ago I picked up a pastel female. She was living in a big glass tank with other snakes. Needless to say she is happier now in my rack, alone. Today I found her coiled around her water bowl with her head in it. I examined her, revealed she does NOT have mites, and her temps and humidity is correct. I have other bp's and they have never done this (to my knowledge). the woman said she has bred before, is it possible she retained sperm from the last breeding? She doesnt seem to have eggs visually, and I understand many females wrap around the bowl in times of pregnancy. And she does not look as though she is going into shed. Does anyone know why she is doing this?

To be clear the other snakes were female ball pythons

I would like to know the same thing. The tanks she was in at the store, where they other females or some males as well?

Yes, they cool seek while pregnant but they can do this if they need to cool down too.

She was with just females. I got her from someone locally, not a pet store. The temp is 91 on the hot side, it seems excessive to stick her head In the bowl to cool down..
