    Normal pied? Pastel Pied?

I was at a store and they had this piebald, they aren't a reptile specialty store so I don't know what the parents are. They have this very beautiful girl and I was wondering what she was. They have her labeled as a normal pied but I think she could be pastel pied or something else.

Looks like a high white pied to me. I don't see the pastel in it.

I'm not sure. It would be easier for me to be certain if she had more markings, but the sharp, choppy look to her markings is a bit pastel-pied-ish looking to me. Don't take my word for it, though. Either way, nice little pied!

Saw your instagram post of this snake. It looks like a high white normal pied to me based on the head color. You said it is 450, which is a fair price, but not a crazy deal or anything. Im guessing female pieds will be 350-450 this year.

I would take the chance on it being a Pastel Pied for Pied price....

    Re: Normal pied? Pastel Pied?

I'd say a really nice pied for a decent price. I'm not seeing the choppy, pixellated look to the pattern that most pastel pieds have. I recently bought a pied for a "good deal" and it ended up dying on me from speculated internal deformities, so I'll just say always be wary of deals that seem too good to be true. However, they have her as a pied at a pied price, so it isn't too bad. Just make sure it's really a girl.

I say Pied, I think the fading on the head may be more the result of a pending shed as she's really pink. Unless it's a trick of the lighting or something. For that price that's not too bad though, I recently picked up an 800g male pied for $400.
    Cheers, Jeff
