I always seem to get the "special" ones when I get pets. This beardie I have cracks me up. I give him Rep-Cal bearded dragon food; it is made up of little round pieces, kind of like miniature Trix cereal. well, there are mostly green ones, with less yellow ones, and even less red ones. And this little guy picks out all the red ones! After awhile though, he realizes the other colors are edible too, and picks at them. But if you put a few more reds in, he is all over them!
Eventually he does finish them all. But it is pretty funny that he shows a color preference. I never thought they could see in color...?
