    Animal plastics?

I am making a complete new set up for my 2013 1.0 BP - I have an Exo terra glass set up for him. It's hard to keep humidity - and after the incident we had I just want to give him the best. I heard this is the best.

Now I researched animal plastics - there's t10 and t8, what's the difference? And it looks like it's a set up for 2? Is there a set up for just one snake not 2?

Any input would be great. Thanks

    Re: Animal plastics?

The only difference between the T8 and T10 is the height of the cage. The T10 has a few extra inches of height. Both can come setup with dividers in case you want to have it split for two animals instead.

I have a T10 at home (but for a carpet, not a BP) and it's fantastic. I highly recommend Animal Plastics.

    Re: Animal plastics?

As Empyrean already said, the difference between a T8 and T10 is 3 inches. They don't come with a divider.

Here's a photo of mine. T8 is on the top and T10 is on the bottom:

    Thank you for the replies!

Okay so if they come with a divider I can use one side for hot and one for cool?

And if they don't come with a divider I guess I need another Bp to fill the other side

    What do these cost ?

    Re: Animal plastics?

Btw beautiful set up! I love the look I would want the t10 If it's a bit higher. My Bp climbs a bit so as much room as possible.

The divider creates two completely separate cages. Are you asking if you can keep one cage one temperature and the other a different temperature? Sure, but why would you want to do this? Each ball python needs to have access to a temperature gradient - both a warm and a cool area - within its own enclosure. It is possible to do this in both a full and a split cage very easily.

They don't come with a divider, but it can be added on at the time of purchase for a minimal cost.

http://www.apcages.com/home/ You'll find the prices on their website. Click the "Terrestrial Cages" link on the top left hand side of the page to find the cage(s) you're looking for.

    Re: Animal plastics?

Yes I know ball pythons need access to warm and cool area within their enclosure- what I was saying IF the animal plastics enclosure shown above doesn't have to be separated into two separate enclosures, I could have lots of space to do what I already do in my enclosure but a lot easier as its longer, that's have a warm and cool side. I do not want to separate I only have one Bp I only need one enclosure. I was under the understanding it came with 2 separate enclosures, in that case I would of got another Bp to fill the other side.

Thank you for your Information I'll check it out.

    Re: Animal plastics?

My original that you quoted I meant to write "don't" -

I meant to ask with this enclosure making one warm and one cool side would be much easier as its a lot longer then my exo glass tank . I didn't word it properly my mistake I was in a rush at the time. Once again thanks for the input and link

    Re: Animal plastics?

For the exo terra you should seriously consider using a bioactive substrate. With a heat lamp my humidity stays at 50-60% and there is minimal maintenence.
