    The only times I've had trouble with valves like that was when they were too tight and the mice weren't strong enough to trigger them, try loosening the valves until they're dripping, then slowly tighten them until the drip just barely stops.

    Thank you so much! I was unaware that you could loosen them. I'll try that and hopefully it'll work well for them!
