Ok,
It is the first time my new rtb is shedding. I went to check on her today because I fed her two days ago. Sure enough her eyes are light blue. She will be shedding when??? This is the first day that her eyes are cloudy. I did increase the humidity to the HIGH setting on my Acuright. So I am asuming it high. Anyway, this is my first rtb and my first experience with a shed. Is it like my bp? She has shed twice with me. The first was BAD BAd, the second was perfect. Now with the rtb is there anything special? Or just keep the humidity hig? Is it quicker than a BP? I can't wait till she sheds, she will be so pretty, I'll post pics!

uumm...how exactly did you increase the humidity? Because as far as I know...my Acurite only measures humidity. If there is an "increase humidity" setting, please tell me where to find it?

I spray the tank down to increase the humidity. The setting of high is the humidity up to or greater than 90%. Using screened aquariums, I have to spray them both down three times daily. I also keep dry towels on top of the tanks. When shed times comes, once a month, I don't spray more I just wet the towels down. Then humidity stays high. This is also the time when I change the aspen bedding. That way I avoid bacteria growth, and belly rot.
