A friend let me know about this site. It has some great info on how to go about killing your own rodents, and mking your own gas chamber. I will see what I can do about having it put in the DIY section. Here is the link

I know this will be a great help to those of us who don't want to feed live, but don't have great access to dry ice or other meathods of painless death.

It's easier buying a CO2 Container from a paintball shop.
And Line it to a gas chamber.

If you have a paintball store in your area that could be easier I suppose, but I imagine that everyone has baking soda and vinigar, as for feeding f/t that is easier too, if your snake will eat that, and you don't have to go through a hassle to get them. I posted this for those of us for whome other options are not so readily available. One should not assume that what is easy for one is easy for another. I never said it was easier this way but I did say that it was a good option for those of us who
don't have great access to dry ice or other meathods of painless death.

WalMart carries paintball supplies, too, for those who might want to try that route.

The regular walmarts have sporting goods sections? I know this sounds dumb, but I don't reall shop there, I have a thing about major cooperations and how they kill the great mom and pop store, so on and so forth. Don't ask, I promise you don't want me to get started. I have said too much aready and the walmart secret service is going to take me away

I completely agree with you. The point wasn't really to push WalMart, just that it's not necessary to go to a specialty shop to get paintball supplies. I am sure there are general sporting goods stores and probably some local hardware stores that carry them as well.
