The Rescue that I got yesterday was a Columbian Rainbow Boa And they are rather small, long snakes anyway. I am sorry I did not make myself more clear. But I do have some good news. He already looks alot better He has eaten 4 small mice and is rehydrated. He is really mean he strikes at anything that moves> I hope after gaining some wieght he will settle down Has anyone out there had any experience with A Columbian Rainbow Boa?Are they normally mean? Again I am sorry for not making myself more clear.

Ahhh did not realize that. I would guess that they're similar to Brazilian Rainbow Boas, which are often temperamental babies but can turn into very handleable adults. Good luck finding out more and enjoy your new snake.

Big difference there man Thanks for clearing that up for us. I'm glad to hear that he ate for you ok. His mood probably directly reflects on how he was taken care of prior to your care. With time and gentleness he should come around.

I placed some picture of my new baby(CRB) in my gallery I am not sure how to put them in the forum. I need to take the time to learn. I really want to show him off. If you get a chance take a peak and let me know what you think. They look qiute alot different then the brazillian. Thanks for all your feedback.

He doesnt look as bad as you originally made it sound . I'm sure he'll calm down for you after he gets used to good care!

Very nice! He looks pretty healthy to me in that pic. I want a rainbow boa. Good luck with him, and don't worry about the 'tude he's throwin at ya. He'll calm after he realises how good he has it now.
