    Pick a Pit

There are qualities in both of these animals I really like so I'm looking for outside opinions. I don't care if you're a bull snake fan, impartial to bulls or even dislike bulls altogether - all input is welcome but please include which you prefer. We'll dub these two Frosty and Orangey, less confusing than 1 and 2. These are two hypos that popped up my red albino project and are as different from each other as night and day.

Differences I've noticed. Frosty has more frosting on his head, a stronger contrast, clearer blue eyes. Orangey has more reds, especially the side blotches and dots lining ventral scales.

Orangey on the left, Frosty on the right:

Orangey's head on the left, Frosty's head on the right:

Frosty's head on the left, Orangey's head on the right:

Frosty on top, Orangey on bottom:

Frosty on top, Orangey on bottom:

With other males from clutch(red albino and red het albino), Frosty is in the middle, Orangey is up top:

I know nothing about Bulls, that being said just looking at them, they are both really striking however, Orangey jumped out at me, I think the faded banding with the solid orange makes him pop. The close up of his head also kind of looks like he is giving you the "I'm going to kill you" stare and I love that haha.

Yeah, Orangey has that look in his eyes but is actually super calm for a baby sayi. It's Frosty who wants to try and top his, "how many times can I bite you in 60 seconds" record every time I pull him out. After that 60 seconds and anywhere from 10-15 tags he's a puppy too - love these snakes!

haha thats funny, I really have never had any hands on experience with them, I have seen a handfull of babies at shows (and they were normals), but thats about it, they are pretty cool looking though and those colors are awesome.

I like that I can see Frosty's pattern better so he would be my choice but either way they are both stunning! keep them both lol

I like Frosty! Well....I like them both! But if I had to only pick one, I'd go with Frosty...just something about the pattern and the way the colors contrast, really draws my eye, and the head is wicked. I miss having a Pit in the house. Such awesome snakes!

I really like Frosty but they are both so beautiful! But I'd go with Frosty.

Appreciate all the feedback everyone. I've decided to hold onto Frosty. While neither are like any red hypos I've seen, he seems to deviate further from the norm than Orangey. I'll be sure to make a progression thread for him so we can all see the color changes he undergoes. Hopefully I'll get an occasional picture of Orangey from his new owner to add to the mix too.
