He really is. When he gets all pissy I just give him a big bear hug and he calms right back down.
If these snakes had a theme song I imagine it'd be something like:

Awesome looking snakes! I have a small bull, and he is the hands-down terror of the snake room. Did yours mellow out as they got older?

Mine definitely chilled out as they grew. I have 4 adults and none of them are biters. One is a huffer and a puffer, another is a squirmer who always tries to flee the scene and the other 2 are pretty relaxed. I have little doubt if I handled with any regularity they'd all be pretty darn calm but I like to see a bit of attitude so I only handle for transfers to clean. Out of my 8 hatchlings 2 think they are the baddest things on the planet and will bite, bite, bite, and bite some more to keep it fresh in your mind. Luckily they are the nicest 2 and my holdbacks so I get to enjoy their shenanigans as they grow. The other 6 are already pretty calm for hatchlings, might get a nip from 1 or 2 but they quickly turn to putty once out for a minute.

Here's the female, just starting to put on some of that adult bulk. These two are also heterozygous for axanthic and whitesided. Looking forward to some wild variety in their clutches but mainly want to see that patternless yellow worm.
