Mother's intuition?

This morning I woke up around 3am for no apparent reason... I was in the state between sleep and being awake whe a noise caused me to roll over and look towards the sliding door that leads to the deck off of my bedroom. I had no idea what the noise was, so I snapped a light on and there was Eleanor-- crawling over a plastic bag. I lucked out because tonight was the only night this week that I didn't leave the door open all night (it gets hot up here). I currently have no screen door, so she could have been out the door and outside, lost! I duct taped the sliding lid on her tank shut... I really, really want to invest in a display cage... lol.

you got lucky. i always wake up at 3 am for some reason. roo is up to escaping, but we have her in a cage the prevents that, luckily no escapes so far. roswell is just lazy. when he does come out he usualy snakes around for an hour then just sits somewhere the rest of the night, only moving for heat or cooling down.
