Heres my problem, I tried feeding Tantrum a F/t and she wouldn't take it.
Should I re-freeze it, or just throw it in the trash?
The rat cost me 5 dollars even though its small.
I couldn't find a seller anywhere do to the power-outs, till today.

Well, the one time I had thawed out 2 mice, expecting Pelota to take both, but she only took the one and was content. So instead of wasting it, I refroze it. It was only out for no more than an hour, so it wasn't a problem. The next feeding though, since the refroze one was a small weanling mouse, I thawed both the weanling mouse and a fresh f/t adult mouse. She took the weanling as an appetizer, and the fresh adult as a main course. The weanling was noticably different though..a bit more smelly, and the stomach was a bit darker. No ill-effects though. I'd say go for it if you want. It's usually safe to refreeze once...as long as it wasn't out too long.

well, if you do refreeze it, you will most likly end up with an exploding stomach the next time your thaw it. go ahead and try it if you want though.

I wouldn't refreeze them, but I can't afford to keep buying her rats and throwing them out do to the fact that she doesn't want to eat.

When I bought the rats, they gased them for me.
They didn't smell anything like the F/T rats I always bought from Petco.
They didn't smell at all as a matter of fact.
Maybe thats the reason she didn't take them, blah!
