but i wonder how you can tell the difference between pastel ivory and super pastel ivory. were both parents super pastels?
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it. If you disagree, send me a PM.
The 4 philosophically most important aspects of modern science are: Evolutionary theory, Cosmology, Quantum mechanics, and Einsteins theory of general relativity. Understand these to get a grip of reality.

Same way people KNOW that an animal is a pastel ivory - one of the parents is a BEL complex super pastel. In this case, I reckon both parents were BEL complex super pastel animals.

I'm pretty pumped about these two. Wheels are spinning as to what else I can put the superstripe to.

I was worried about this before i made the purchase. I talked with several breeders that work with them and got one unanimous response. They all said it's visually easy when they have their first shed. One response I got,
" As babies its very easy to tell them apart. On supers the yellows are highlighter colored unfortunately that fades as they grow and the head is super white, you can see the black in eyes through the top of the head."
Another was,
" you can see the pastel by appearance.:cens0r: The super pastels are a solid white, the pastel ivorys are more of a yellow and white and the ivorys are more gray."
with this purchase I eliminated plain ivoriesfrom the equation so well see how difficult it is in a year or two. I've been looking for a good while and as far as babies go the pastels do look different. Most have a little yellow. The supers are bright white. I have not seen any hatchlings, so I'll have to wait. The ones I've seen have all had multiple sheds which makes a difference. I guess the supers whiten up after a couple sheds. I was originally looking for a pastel Ivory cause I liked that look of the little bit of yellow.
