F10SC question
I recently recieved my bottle of F10SC and I want to use it to clean my water bowls but I'm not exactly sure how long I should let the stuff sit for before rinsing (if rinsing is neccessary).
I used it once so far and what I did was rinse bowls with water and scrub with a sponge( I use a new sponge every time I clean bowls) then I sprayed them with the F10SC diluted 1:250 and let it sit for about 10 minutes and then rinsed. Am I doing the right thing? Because I looked on the site for F10 and i checked out there vet guidlines and it says to rinse with hot water, scrub then spray f10 and let dry, but wouldn't it be a bit dangerous for my snakes to be drinking f10 in there water seeing that I also read it leaves a residue effect and keeps disinfecting.

I don't know if the residue is dangerous - I mean, people nebulize their snakes with the stuff - but if you're worried about residue then run the water bowls through the dishwasher, and reserve the F10SC for the tub and hides.

Let it sit for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. the longer it sits, the better. I used to clean all my bowls, then put them all in a bucket, fill it with F10/water solution and let them sit for an hour. Did I need to let them sit for an hour, no? But better to be OVERLY safe than sorry. However, 10-15 minutes is probably fine.
