Is printed newspaper a safe substrate to use for reptiles? It's probably the most cost effective substrate there is.. but I want to be sure it's safe before trying it. What about color printed vs black and white printed?

I use paper towels now.. but newspaper is even cheaper. Some people say color print is fine.. some don't, that's how it is everywhere it seems.

Oh.. and I love the gaboon avatar. Gaboon vipers are my absolute favorite snake in the world.. Someday, when I have my own zoo, I'll have one.
