Feeding Related Question
I just fed my ball and everything seemed to go off without a hitch as it typically does, until he had the rat down... That's when I noticed part of his mouth hadn't closed all the way, and it was hanging just a bit lower than the other side. Did his jaw just not go back into place after the feed, or should I be contacting my vet tomorrow morning? Thoughts on this would be extremely helpful, since I'm relatively new to keeping snakes!

Sometimes it take them a while to realign everything. You'll sometimes see them rubbing their face against the side of their tub/tank and more commonly yawning...
How long has it been since he got the rat down?

Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
Always sitting by your side,
Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...

Re: Feeding Related Question
I've definitely seen him do all of those things after past feeds, the yawning especially.
It's been roughly an hour, maybe just under than amount of time.

Hmmm...I would leave him alone and check him in the morning. If he doesn't have it sorted by then you may need to take further action. I don't think it's anything to be immediately alarmed about though.

Re: Feeding Related Question
If it's not fixed by tomorrow I'd take the middle of a Q-tip to open the snakes mouth. I had something like this happen with one of mine but when I opened up his mouth he closed it back and it went back to normal tell us how it goes.

What kind of substrate do you have him on? Maybe a piece of substrate stuck in his mouth?

Re: Feeding Related Question
Sorry for not getting back to y'all sooner, but everything is looking normal this morning and my little guy seems to be doing just fine. Thank you for the helpful words. It's very much appreciated for a snake mommy a tendency to over worry, haha.
As for the substrate he's on, I have him on aspen chips for the time being because that's what was available. I typically have him on cypress.
