When feeding f/t, what should the temp of the rat be when i thaw it? should i leave it out for a few hours to thaw, and then warm it up using warm water? how warm should the rat eventually get?

    do i have a problem here ?

Normal body temps for rats and mice is the same as humans, but a degree or two warmer doesn't hurt when you're helping a heat-seeking snake identify its prey. And yes, that procedure should work out just fine for you. I'd suggest warming it in a ziplock freezer bag because you're less likely to end up with wet rat and will preserve more of the natural yummy odors that way.

I warm my feeders up with a heating pad.I put them in a ziplock sandwich bag and bring them to temp.I also bring them a few degrees warmer than normal human body temp.
