    ferret breeders?

    im looking into getting a ferret in the next couple of months as bday present for someone .. I was just wondering is there any good trusted names out there .. I just don't feel like going to a pet store I much rather get from a breeder ..

    There are very, very few ferret breeders in the US, and I know some won't give ferrets out to people who haven't had ferrets before because breeder ferrets are much different from mill ferrets.


    If you happen to find a breeder that feeds their ferrets raw and/or whole prey diets, I'd love to get a kit who's mother was fed raw during pregnancy.
    1 Husband, 1 Western Hognose Snake (male), 2 ferrets (2 females), 1 male jungle leopard gecko, 4 gerbils (2 females & 2 males), 1 male dwarf rabbit, 3 guinea pigs (1 male, 1 female and 1 female skinny pig), 2 American parakeets, 2 cats (male bobcat hybrid and a male Egyptian Mau mix), and 2 dogs (female Mini Dachshund and a female Alaskan Malamute).
