hey all you corny people (har har)
what is the difference between a type A anerythristic and a type B?

I would like to breed my anery and albino for blizzards in a couple of years (if they turn out to be male and female). To get blizards you need a type B...

Anery A (Black Albino) = gray to black blotches over a pale ground color with yellow on chin and neck; gray snakes w/ black blotches/saddles; no red or orange pigment at all.

Anery B (Charcoal) = they lack even the residual yellow pigment on their throats that’s typical in type A anerythristic specimens

If you breed an anery B and an amel you will have all babies that look normal but are het for blizzard. I believe you would then have to breed the babies together and you 'might' get some resulting babies that are blizzards - but the percentage of that happening is very small. I think I said that right. :?

wowza, thanks tiger... would be a fun project nonetheless. I beleive I do have a Type B. He is still young, Im hoping he doesnt develope any yellow.

Brandon- there is a possability that it could create problems overtime. I dont think there has been a heck of alot of research done on on it though.

    Dry skin?

It is done a lot with reptiles. I've heard it's not as bad as say with...humans. I hear a lot about people breeding an offspring back to it's father, etc. I wonder if it's better/worse with certain species?
