I made the jump from BP's to Boa's today.
I picked up a beautiful Colombian Boa from a local breeder today for $125
He had others that were cheaper but I realy liked this one. it took right to me with no fussyness at all.
Now I just need to get a home made for her. Im gona go with a rubermaid. anyone have sugestions how to set one up?

pic is from the breeders website as I havent had time to take any my self yet.

I would use the Substrate ECO EARTH and a big water dish it can sit in. you should also get a thermometer/hydrometer combo at wal mart.

Just wondering..what are you keeping him in now if you haven't got the setup together yet?(unless you do have a setup, and wondered what you could tweak about it..) If you don't have the setup yet, you probably should have got that all together beforehand. Anyway, sweeet boa. I swear thats my next snake. Seems like a lot of people make the jump from bp to boa. And they seem to do fine, so I'm sure I can manage it. Can't wait.

She was in the container the breeder put her in. no she didnt have heat at the time but that is all taken care of now.
only prob Im having is the cool side. Ive got the warm side at 90.7* but the cool side is at 73.4* guess Im gona have to put a lamp above her durring the day. I also need to get the humidity down a little, its at 86%
maybe a lamp will solve both problems.
