    Help with Dog names !

Skipped work today. And decided to stop by the humane society...it's been a year since Tyson died(Easte Sunday last year) so I decided it was a good time to get a pup-plus save a life(even tho he would have been saved by someone else, but it makes me feel good to say it lol).

He's a hound mix, they think pug...I hope he grows up to be more hound looking than pug lol
I can't think of a name for the life of me. He's 10 weeks old, has been neutered andi got to draw from a hat full of shamrocks w/discounted prices on them so I got a good deal which made up for the price of his microchip. They called him Toby but I'm not feeling it. Copper is too girly, Beau is too common, and Duke rhymes w/Luke which we hope to name our first born boy someday...

    Any suggestions?

I'll get more and post more pics tomorrow. J

He kind of resembles a "Puggle" actually. Really cute!

Sometimes if I don't have a pre-conceived name, I'll observe and get to know the animal for a few days, and the right name always seems to pop up during this time of observation/time spent together.

I'm usually one for strange different names, but names that come to mind when I look at him are "Sam"..... or "Hunter" or "Gunner."

    He sure is cute!!!

Too cute! I agree with puggle. Here is a pic of my puggle-basset mix when he was a puppy for comparison:

Looks puggle to me too. I'm no good with names, but Gunner is cute.
