    Anyone have a CSerpents Cage?

    hey folks,
I know CSerpents makes great racks (and might be picking one up at the next Atlanta show from them), but has anyone ever ordered a cage from them? On their site they say that they will do cages on custom order and I am starting to shop for a 4'x2'x2' cage for my BCA male when he gets bigger. If anyone has ever used them, I'd love your input on what the cage is like, if you think their prices are competitive to AP / Boamaster, etc.

    Thanks!

I have one for my BTS and I love it.

Chris has great quality products (I own both racks and cage), the lead time is much faster then AP and of course the customer service is great.

I always pick up my stuff from the ATL show which save me money on shipping too.

Do you have a picture of your BTS enclosure you can post up?

    Here you go

It's a 4x2 cage, I ordered it with a hole to accommodate a 5 inches dome light instead of the radiant heat panel that generally comes with it.

Wow that looks really nice! right now my blueys are in 3x2x2s but I plan on upgrading to 4x2x2. I keep going back an forth on using a RHP or not, but I haven't heard of an bluey owners actually using them.

Deborah- Thanks for your input! Do you mind me asking how much you paid? The other sellers (boamaster and AP) are both charging around $300 for a 4x2x2 (plus shipping) so I'm just trying to figure out if this is the going rate for that size.

Also, I did not know C serpents regularly came to the ATL show.. Do you know if they come only once a year or usually come to all of them? They were not at the last show I went to (July last year) but that was my first time at the ATL show, so not sure if that was unusual.

    Thanks!
    Great pic btw!

Re: Anyone have a CSerpents Cage?

The cage was $275 I believe (since I ask a cage with no heat)

Chris is usually there at all the shows the one in July is a bad show for vendors (not much traffic and VERY hot) and the one last year was at the same date then the one in Myrtle Beach so a lot of regular vendors were not there but in Myrtle Beach.

He will be there in April not sure about the one this July since I believe it is at the same time then Myrtle Beach again, and he does the one in November and January.

Email him or call him and whatever you have in mind he can make and deliver for you.

    Thanks!
I will probably be ordering a rack from him and picking it up at the April show this time around... But I will ask him for a quote on a cage. I have not even received my male BCA yet, so will probably be waiting until November to get him a cage... I just want to know how much it will be so that i can save up.

Thank you for the advice.. The show in July that I went to did seem to be missing a lot of vendors..Not much selection, but I thought it was great since it was the first show I had attended. When I went, there were no cage vendors and mostly BPs for sale (not many boas or other species). Hopefully this one will be better attended.

    Thanks again for your help!
