you will learn quickly that doing a full cleanout and substrate change will ALWAYS instigate a poop. BPs are the biggest brats that way. "whoop, everything is clean. I better paint the walls with my poo so my keeper knows I appreciate the attention to detail!" there is a youtube video out there that narrates the day to day diary entries of a snake. its an entertaining watch.

Re: Plop: The unexpected rescue... (lots of pics)
So I thought I would give everyone an update! It's been a few weeks and I haven't posted, so here goes.
Plop made the move beautifully, and one week after arriving ate his mouse with no problem. I am still trying to find some african soft furred mice to begin breeding because it would benefit him and my friend's ball who I'd very picky and hasn't eaten anything in a while, the only thing she hasn't tried is ASFs.
A couple days before we left, Plop had a beautifully perfect shed! I am so proud of him.
Not a single piece left on, and I think it only ripped because it got caught on the plant in his tub.
And during the trip he was perfectly content to bask in the sun in the car when he wanted or tuck away into his hide in the small tub I had him in.
Here he is as of today, I am pretty sure, visually, that he has grown, but I don't have a scale or anything.
And before anyone says anything, that microwave his tub is on top of isn't even plugged in, so no worries. Lol

Re: Plop: The unexpected rescue... (lots of pics)
I'm not judging. When I got my ball, I didn't even have his tank cleaned nor did I have the heat pad or thermometer. They came the following day and now he's been with me for almost three months now, and he's happy as can be. Thanks for rescuing him in his condition. It means a lot to everybody

He seems so much happier too, always exploring and moving from hide to hide. Thank you for the comment!

hee thank you! I think he is a great pastel to have come from a pet store. I am not sure if he is a normal pastel though or a pastel morph?

I am just doing what I felt was right by him. He is my baby, and he makes me very happy.
