My Hot
Here is my only hot (at the moment). He shed last night so... fresh paint job! He is just gorgeous, imo. He's a juvenile Broadband Copperhead.
Not the best pictures, but it'll do for now. My next pick up will be a Mottled Rock Rattlesnake in the near future.

Very nice. Love copperheads. My very first hots were a pair of southerns. I was advised by many people that they were a good choice for a first hot. And on some level I guess it was true. They have relatively mild venom. But I've always found most agkistrodon's to be very jumpy nervous snakes that can be a real handful if you catch them on a bad day. And my pair seemed to have more bad days then good lol.

Yeah. That's how my lil guy is like. Although once he's on the hook, he tends to stay.... and he gets pissy when I offer him food and don't set it down right away. Its really cool to watch him. I'm gonna try to talk my sister (who has professional equipment & will be taking pics of my other snakes) into photographing him.

Here is my C. cerastes cercobombus , or Sonoran Sidewinder. I also picked up a C. lepidus but don't have any good pics of him yet.

Hots are gorgeous. Love how their heads are shaped. They're illegal to keep here in Tennessee, though I still dunno if I'd keep them even if I could. Much respect for yall who do though.
