Red gums
Hey guys,
I was just feeding my guy, when I noticed that he has this kind of slightly reddish color on his gums just round the teeth, nowhere else. Can this mean that his teeth are coming out, like growing? Or is this something else I should be concerned about. I did not manage to take a photo and don't want to stress him now after feeding, but maybe you have come over something similar and can give me any advice.
Thanks a lot.

Re: Red gums
The only reddish colour i've ever dealt with on the gums was mouth rot. Its hard to say what could be happening without pictures.

Mouth should be pale pink/creamy around the teeth. Redness could mean mouth rot, a dislodged tooth, or an abrasion. Keep a close eye on it.

Re: Red gums
Is there any excess saliva or does the saliva seem thicker then normal?
