    i know pastelxpastel =super (25%) . what exactly defines a super?
    not just lighter and brighter, do people just breed pastel x pastel and call the best of the clutch a super?

    Super Pastels are the dominant (homozygous) form of the Pastel trait. It is a another genetic trait altogether. There's a pretty detailed description here: http://www.newenglandreptile.com/genetics_codom.html
