well i was reading some housing ideas and came up with this idea...
you remember those pinata's you used to make as a kid? blow up a balloon, take some strips of news paper, run it thru the blue laundry detergent (i think) and slap it on the balloon....in a few days when it hardens, pop the balloon, and tada! a pinata!
well use the same concept for a hide
blow the balloon up, put some detergent soaked news paper on the balloon, let it dry, pop the balloon, and cut it in half...cut a whole so s/he can get inside the hide and there you go...very cheap and inexpensive
i will go work on this RIGHT NOW and post pictures ASAP.

Sounds like a good plan, except we always used watered-down Elmer's glue, I think. You might want to Google papier mache for some recipes. I don't know that detergent would be safe for the snakes, but white glue or flour and water paste should be fine.

You must be definitely die hard to work on snake hides at midnight . Really tho, it sounds like a great idea. Let us know how it turns out.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.
