    Tremendous Odds in this Clutch!

First a little history. Late last summer, I purchased a GHI male. He was a great eater and quickly hit 600g, and after that he was locking with everything in sight. I was expecting to have pretty good GHI production this season based on how well he was breeding. Because he was a young male, I had to pair some of the females with older males before he was ready. Unfortunately, most of the girls he bred with ended up not laying and up until now, those that did were sired by the older male or in one case, slugged out. I did end up getting one clutch that had a pair of pastel GHI males, but that was it. After bombing so much with the GHI project thus far, I wasn't expecting much from this clutch. I figured the older male she was with would sire the clutch (not like that would've been a bad thing, but I digress). These guys pipped a few days ago and when opening the rest of the eggs, I was blown away with what I found.

The female is a black pewter and she was bred with my proven breeder spark and my GHI. Here are the results:

    1.2 GHIs

    0.1 Pastel GHI

Here are the other two, which I'm not 100% on, but I believe they are both GHI Black Pewters. I haven't been able to find many pictures of GHI Black Pastel stuff, so these might be the world's first.

    Here they are all together:

Thanks everybody! I'm very pleased with how these turned out. Can't complain about going 6 for 6 with the ghis.
