Hehe.. I came home from work yesterday to find these little goobers:

I'm happy. They are just normals, but it's my first clutch, so I'm very excited.

    Thanks for looking,
    Jennifer

Aww! Beautiful! "Just" normals are still wonderful snakes, and the more we produce in captivity, the better chance we have of fighting large-scale importation. I hope the others all hatch healthy.

Thanks, Marla!! Yeah, I think every year I will have a couple clutches of "normal" babies just to keep me sane. Plus, I love them! There are not any two ball pythons that look the exact same.

Well, I don't have anything else in the incubator for this year, that was the only clutch. Next year I will be breeding my hypo to some girls to get a bunch of hets, I have 3.1 pastels on their way as we speak, so I will have pastels *hopefully* next year, and possibly SUPER pastels the year after that! (Supers are my favorite morph, btw ). I will also have albinos, het albinos, and lots of other dinking projects, such as this guy: http://ball-pythons.net/PNphpBB2+viewtopic-t-4528.html

Next year is going to be a busy one for me...

    Name that Herp

How many females will you have ready for breeding next season? I'd love to get one of your het hypos, as I just love that lil guy's looks. Sounds like you plan to go from one clutch this year to a dozen or more next year. That's quite a leap! Will you have a refrigerator incubator or what?

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

    Hey Marla,

I will have 21 females ready to go next season, but I'm not sure that I will be using all of them. I am planning on 5 females for the hypo, but things change and he may only take to one or two. I am planning on 5 females for each pastel, but again, things don't always go as planned. We'll just have to see. And it will be a leap for sure, but I can't wait! I may have albinos, but I will only be breeding a het pair together, so if anything, I will get one albino.

    Jennifer
