For anyone who is considering buying a crested gecko cage, I suggest you check out the cage just made available through Reptile Depot here: http://www.reptiledepot.com/reptprices.html or go to http://www.reptiledepot.com/ and click Supplies then Screen Cages to see it. It's similar in function to the cage I've been planning to make for my guys, though a little bit smaller (23"x16"x16").
What I like about this cage is that the sides, back, top, and bottom are solid acrylic with the sides being see-through, and the front is screen that forms a flip-up door at the bottom (for substrate cleaning or stirring or egg collection) and a side-hinged door at the top (for getting your geckos out or making adjustments inside the cage). This means you have easy access to your geckos and can see them from the front or sides and can mist them through the front, but don't lose your humidity from misting as quickly as you do in an all-screen cage. The size works for several juvies or up to 1.2 adult cresties.
3.1.1 BP (Snyder, Hanover, Bo Peep, Sir NAITF, Eve), 1.2.3 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Sandiego, Carmen, Scooby, Camo, BABIES ), 1.0 Chow (Buddha), 0.2 cats (Jezebel, PCBH "Nanners"), 0.3 humans
