Okay I"m planning to get a Red Blood Python this weekend, my question is ... will it eat Frozen/Thawed Rats?

Definitely, although it may take some time just like with any reptile. You might get lucky and yours will take f/t without any problem, or it could take a couple of feedings with p/k working twords f/t. From what i've heard they are eating machines.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

It's also good to email Kara at NERD and ask her what it's like to keep them. I emailed her about a Black Blood, and she sent me tons of info. One thing is, if you have experience taking care of large boas, burms/retics, then a blood should be good to have. She said they aren't for the beginner herper at all. So if you've just had a BP, then a blood probably wouldn't be the best choice for a next snake.
Just my $.02...

Yea .. getting ahold of Kara@NERD might not be a bad idea. She is always willing to help with anything. You can find her contact info at www.newenglandreptile.com .. just look under Currently Available then Blood Pythons.

That's probably a good question to ask the person from whom you're buying the snake. Whether or not it already eats F/T and whether you know how to convert a snake to F/T are 2 different things. If you need help learning how to get a blood onto F/T let me know - there are a couple of different methods that work exceptionally well.
Are ball pythons the only species you've kept at this point? Just curious.
