Finally got one of our new baby RTB's to eat a couple F/T pinkies last night. We picked them up from a show a couple weeks ago and after letting them settle in have been having trouble getting them to eat. I recently re-arranged my breeding colony so I haven't had any live hoppers or pinkies to try so we had to frozen. I hope to keep them on pre-killed but i've found it easier to use life when snakes are young. I put the pinkie in a small container and borrowed one of my mice and put her in also to get the smell. Worked perfectly for the first RTB, she ate 2. The other RTB sat in the container all night and the pinkie went to waste. I need to get some tongs maybe more movement will stimulate her more. But I was happy that the one my wife wants to keep has eaten something finally. I've threatening my breeding stock dailey but they don't seem to understand!
