    Re: Yellow

Man just saw this old thread. No replies for a big Yellow girl? That's a shame. How old is she? Looks to be a decent size, 30-40lbs or so? How big is she?

Shes about 4-5 years old, I don't have scales to weigh her lol. Shes weighs ALMOST as much as this HUGE bag of rat food I buy, so I would say about 40 pounds.

Posting 2 new pix I took tonight of her shed and her

Ok, about the same age and weight as my girl. Mines 35lbs right now on a scale accurate to the gram.

    Just go get one

They are so fun to work with! On good days they are amazing, on bad days they CAN tear you a new one.

My male, when he gets in his "moods" will thrash around like a great white ripping a seal apart. One time he hit me like 10 times in about 20 seconds. Relentless. But other times he is so chill and content just hanging out on your shoulders.

My female on the other hand hasn't had any bad days, an that's the scary part. She's plotting haha. At 12' I don't want to test her too much haha, but I'll still solo her every time as long as someone is home.

Such a rewarding species and pretty to boot!

That's the problem. No one in Texas seems to be breeding them.
Mom doesn't even mind me getting one. I just can't find any.

Sounds like fun. Yeah, imo I think they're one of the most beautiful, naturally occurring snakes out there. I'd take one over some of the higher end balls.
Some day... This is why I'm hoping that USARK is successful in getting the animals removed from the Lacey Act.

I agree 100%, very beautiful animals, and even without it being a morph. I also think the greens are just awesome with the cool little orange on their faces, but cannot own one in FL.....
