4 new legless lizard species discovered in California

Interesting article! There is one previously known species, now 4 new species, for a total of 5 species. Hopefully these lizards receive some protections to keep their habitat from being developed.

Why keep a snake? Why keep any animal? Because you enjoy the animal, find something beautiful and fascinating about it, and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

They definitely need protection becasue the next thing you'll hear about is they're being hunted to near extinction.

People should never underestimate the will of money to make people drive a species to near extinction
