    Sickly Ball Python

Hi everyone. I got my Ball Python in May and asked for advice on the forums because he was underweight, severely dehydrated, and had pneumonia. I don't have any really recent pictures, but I will show you a few. I was tube feeding him for awhile, but now he is eating on his own thankfully. He still isn't where I want him to be, but I would like if some of you would take a look at him and tell me how far he needs to go. He is an adult in a 40 gallon aquarium with proper temps and humidity.

He also has all these messed up spots on his body. They are almost like little circles where his scales got rubbed off and I have no idea how he got those. He had them when I got him.

Pictures are in order from when I got him until probably early to mid-July I think. The newest one may even have been in June. I really need to get some updated ones.

    Re: Sickly Ball Python

It sounds like you're doing everything right. Male balls tend to be smaller, so don't expect him to look like a 3Kg female. As long as he is filled out (not showing a prominent spine) or loose skin, I wouldn't worry too much. If he's eating for you regularly and has regular sheds then just enjoy your snake. BTW, that last pic came out really well.
