There must be a sign in my backyard...

That says "free range chicken buffet"! Caught this little rat trying to make a meal of one of my girls. Poor thing was covered in fleas, no tags, intact male. He's actually kind of sweet now that he doesn't think I'm going to beat him, so I guess I'm his new foster mom until a permanent home can be found.

First, sorry about your continued run-ins with dogs

Second, though, congrats on the foster project!!! Make sure you get him to the vet for a checkup and to start his shot regiment...what are you gonna name him??

I'm surprised that little guy had the guts to go after your chickens! He's a cutie!

    Yo quiero chicken taco!

    Gonna need a bigger fence?

At least he's cute and seems relatively harmless.

    Your poor chickens.

    Poor girlies!
You're going to have to get a livestock guardian dog to protect your flock!

And that chi is nice. At least he isn't one of those giant headed buggy eyed fat ones.

It's a 6-foot chain link fence. He's already tolerated me giving him a flea bath, and now keeps trying to play with my boxer and cat!

Aww, he so cute! Too bad he's blood thirsty. Maybe you can turn him around and teach him to be a guard dog! He'd be perfect...no one would suspect him!
