I was at my reptile place the other day and I was really looking at some juvenile Retics...I gotta admit that they sure do look mean as sin.I mean my Ball Pythons, my BCI, my cornsnake...they all look like fuddy duddy snakes  but those retics look like they are just simply brooding and would love to bite the *%$# outa somebody.

I really dig retics but I am crazy enough what with the snakes I DO have let alone bringing some crazy, thirty foot long retic into my collection. I am content to just admire them. They sure are cool though...

    first pre-killed

Yeah, i am feelin you Eyelash! I absolutely LOVE the look of retics! But hey, i gotta be real, i aint ready to care for some 30 foot type stuff! And as you (& most others on this site) well know, gettin a snake for the cool factor just aint ever woth it!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?

I have really fallin for our newest rescued retic. I will say that they are one of the very few snakes I have encountered that "stare you down" thou. They have a beauty all their own.
