    Post shed axanthic spam!

Forgive my poor camera skills, I just keep pushing the button and hope something decent eventually shows up.

    Baby Zara the axanthic bee

Female Pastel Axanthic (soon to be living with another forum member )

Male Pastel Axanthics (Donut and Spot)

And finally Nipper, guess how she got her nickname!

lol love the regular bee's name. That last pic of her is too funny. All poised and ready. And little Zara is super adorable. I can't wait to see how she looks with some size on her.

What kind of camera do you have? Point and shoot?

She struck at the camera half a second later and tries (and occasionally succeeds) to bite me several times a day . I think she had her hopper coiled in <15 seconds though. Camera is an old Nikon Coolpix 5700 hand-me-down freebie. It has buttons on it, and a bunch of settings, I just don't know what any of them do.

Thanks! Although I have to admit, the constant biting is getting tiresome. She's not stressed either, she has a snug cage with FOUR hides and a plastic plant, she was mean right out of the egg. I actually dropped her in the sink when I was washing the egg goo off, she startled me when she turned around and nailed me.

Is she nippy even in hand? My girl is only really bad when I open her tub. Or touch her. Or walk by lol. But she's gotten much better when I have her out. It's just in her tub that she's a nightmare.

Yup, but she's only 2 1/2 weeks old, so I suppose I should cut her some slack. I'd be pretty scared if some giant creature suddenly took me out of my comfy house and tried to hold me/feed me/check that I hadn't thrown up a mouse.
