Some of my little guys from 'work'

I'm taking care of an arthropod collection on campus, and these are a few of my little ones

Charlotte the wonder T. She's my favorite I'm not sure how old she is, or her exact breed (I've heard Oklahoma brown but its a guess)

One of our adult male Australian Prickly Sticks- he used to be so pretty! He kept this green color for a really long time, but I think he's browned out now.

Precious babies<3 I don't know why I like the roaches so much but I really do haha.

We have hissers Which are always entertaining haha- I like it when I'm cleaning their feeding or watering, and they start hissing at ME and then are like OH FOODD... and start eating or drinking. Or hiss at each other when I'm across the room hahah

Some more I dug up from my google photos!!

Meera, our African Giant Millipede. She's not quite full grown- probably another inch or two, and then some girth.

I don't name most of the Prickly sticks just cause we have a few and they aren't that different looking.. except for her. Her name is COB. Crabby Old Bat (or another B word...) She is MEAN. She will kick you with legs and try to pinch you. Handling her to clean the cage is a JOY. She's huge and an awesome looking bug, but she's a little brat hahaha

This was uh, not intentional haha, she climbed up before I could move her, so I got the picture to wig out my mom. But a size comparison for how darn big COB is. Shes our biggest by far right now.

So I googled Brachypelma to look at the species in that genus... and there's one called a Mexican Golden Rump (Brachypelma albiceps).

I think I found my spider...

Whoa! Those prickly sticks are crazy.

Feeder roaches are neat, I think of mine as tiny 6 legged cattle. I like feeding them bread and stuff and watching them nibble at it
