I am just about to purchase my first Cal king and was wondering, what types of substrate and what types of heating are best. Whether to go with the lamp so I could have the heat during the day then switch it out to the incadescent at night, so all the replies are deeply appreciated! Thanks...

Right now my girl is on paper towels. I'll be switching her to either aspen chips or Bed-a-Beast when she gets a bit bigger
