Well just buy some to last you around 6 months. That's about the limit before getting freezer burned unless the animal has hair and then you can go a bit longer. I know people that have fed stuff with light freezer burn with no issues. You just need to look at the people who sell F/T and call them all and get prices shipped to you. Some places you have to order in 100 minimum per size which can be annoying because your snake may not stay on that size for the whole time, this is one reason why I ordered from Big Cheese Rodents, but they're out of TX so shipping to you may not be worth it, though you'd have to call to find out.

Here are some online F/T dealers:

    Big Cheese Rodent
    Mice Direct
    Rodent Pro
    Layne Labs
    Frozen Feeder Mice and Rats
    Perfect Prey
    South Florida Rodents

I know they have more I just can't think of them off the top of my head. I personally would not order from MD or RP because of the shipping prices. I ordered 100 fuzzies, 50 small pinkies and 50 large pinkies from Big Cheese Rodent for $55 shipped to my door step. Also I'm in the next state over as well.

coming at some point in the future

I buy from Layne Labs and Rodent Pro and recommend both: I use RP for my big orders and LL for when I need smaller quantities of certain feeders (ie 25 rat fuzzies over having to order 100 at RP).

    Re: f/t

I was referred to American Rodent Supply. For most areas it's free shipping, the catch is the order has to be for $100 or more.
