    what is the best sealent to use on a custom enclosure?

    100% silicone caulk or Aquarium Sealant for the joints, corners, and any seams.

    Polycrylic or Polyurethane for a general treatment.

    I like to let my cages "cure" for at least a week or two after they are completed to allow any fumes to dissapate.
