    Thanks, Sita - I was just about to say that! They usually do well together, and have shared a cage for at least six months... so I doubt they'll suddenly start fighting 24/7, I was just asking for suggestions on their post-cleaning fights.

    My neighbor actually wants to adopt them now, since she met them last night (she's rodent & cat-sitting for me this weekend, while my dog & I are in San Diego). So if she does take them, I'll suggest the dirty bedding trick... and if the fighting escalates, I'll tell her to separate them. Thanks for the input, though!
