That is one cool looking cham! Nice enclosure, too. It looks like you don't have any substrate in there. Is that on purpose? I would think that would make cleaning a real pain, at the least.

Heh, Jackson's chameleons are like a little triceratops and chameleon all rolled into one.

Compadres, it is imperative that we crush the freedom fighters before the start of the rainy season. And remember, a shiny new donkey for whomever brings me the head of Colonel Montoya.

Thanks guys! I'm so proud of that first picture. Yeah, I said nuts to substrate after the first month of having them, haha. I just keep the plants in their own pots so it makes it easy to rearrange and clean everything. Thanks for lookin' =)

question for you smynx
Great pics. I am starting to like chameleons almost more the ball pythons, almost. One question. I am ordering a 66 gallon reptarium for my Veiled Chameleon. I intend to put some live plants in there along with some fake vines for him to climb on. I was wondering about crickets getting into the pot and the Cham not picking them off, i am pretty sure he will.
Thanks,
Damien

getting a new tank
Actually, what I do when I feed mine is I put the bugs in an open container and then sit the container on the floor of the cage or rest it on a lower plant, so the chams can just pick them off as they please and no bugs get into the rest of the cage. Granted the crickets can jump out if the container is too shallow but the chams usually take care of them before they have the chance
