The vet called us early Sat mornng... we had to have him euthanized. She did all she could for him, but he was just not getting better. I called my cricket supplier, and they say that the crickets could not have come from them.. but I know they did.

I know how much love and devotion you had for Ozzy, and I know while he was with you he was brilliantly cared for.

Jeanne, I'm so sorry. That's terrible. I wonder if the crickets might have been exposed to pesticide at some point? At the very least your supplier ought to have refunded the cost of 100 crickets. That's worth more in goodwill than it would cost them in money. Anyway, I am very sorry for your loss.
