Light question.

Ok I have a Reptisun 8.0 flourescent fixture for to provide good UVA and UVB light for good calcium absorbstion. I also have 100Watt incandescent daybulb for a heat lamp.

Here is my question. Can I use a night time bulb for a chameleon? I use one on my snake but it is beyond the snakes vision range. And I know that chameleons have a very good color range. Will it bother Pokey if i used a night time lamp?

The store I go to uses a small ceramic heat emitter for night temps for their chameleons. Iguana owners use those for night heat too. I think those would stress them out the least since theres no visible light coming from them at all.

Here is a link of cheap ceramic heaters. These are this is the type we use here. We find them highly affective.
